Wilfredo “Choco” De Jesus served in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago as Lead Pastor of New Life Covenant Church for over 19 years (2000-2019). The church has seen a tremendous amount of growth and influence through the planting of multi-site campuses, effective urban and community outreach, and through world missions.

Today, Pastor Choco serves as the General Treasurer of the Assemblies of God. A Pentecostal fellowship serving 13,017 churches in the U.S., with over 3 million members and adherents and with more than 69 million members worldwide.

Pastor Choco has a heart to reach even the most marginalized with the Gospel and the saving power of Jesus Christ. He is the founder and lead of Seek and Save, a new initiative of the Assemblies of God.

In April 2013, he was named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world and recognized for his leadership and influence within the evangelical and Latino community, to the glory of God. Pastor Choco is also the author of five books: Amazing Faith, In the Gap, Stay the Course, Move Into More and Love Them Anyway. In December of 2018, he graduated with his doctorate from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. He and his wife Elizabeth have three adult children and six pretty amazing grandchildren.

Brianna Lopez currently serves as the Event Logistics Coordinator for the Seek and Save Initiative. Born and raised in Yardville, New Jersey, Brianna became passionate about serving the local church and community while being raised in a local Assemblies of God church. Brianna has also served internationally through mission trips to Colombia, Belize, Haiti, Mexico, and Peru. When entering her young adult years, Brianna was called to attend a Bible college in Chicago, Illinois, where she was able to grow in many different areas of ministry and leadership. This lead to Brianna serving as a worship leader and creative director within her local church. Brianna also gained administrative experience through her career in the local government.

Through her passion for spreading the love of Jesus, connecting with people, and equipping them, Brianna is happy to be part of a team that leads a bold mission to bring the message of Jesus throughout cities in America.

In her free time, she enjoys going to cafes, arranging flowers, and spending time with her family and friends.

Humberto Pizarro together with his wife are ordained ministers of the Assemblies of God and formerly served as founding Pastors of Connected Life Church in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Currently, Connected Life is one of the fastest growing churches in the Puerto Rico Assemblies of God district.

Today, Bert is the Special Project Coordinator of Seek and Save, pioneering the development of urban ministry through strategic enticing events. Bert has been a missionary, church planter and a pastor. He has served as a denominational leader with the Puerto Rico Assemblies of God.

Furthermore, his team has led over one hundred twenty-five mission’s teams with more than one million volunteer hours in the relief, restoration and recovery of Puerto Rico since the catastrophic hurricane María, back in September 2017. Additionally, Humberto better known as “Bert”, oversees all logistics for community outreaches and reconstruction of churches, houses, and communities within Haiti and Puerto Rico through Shining Bright International, a nonprofit organization of community aid where he and his wife are founders.

Bert is happily married with Zoharis for 16 years and have two amazing children Noah Prime and Evolet.
